Long Term Care ... with a choice.
Capable Hands
William J. Driscoll has
been in the investment business for over twenty years and has become
knowledgeable in virtually every area of finance, particularly in the
areas of retirement and planning, money management, and insurance
products.
After graduating from Fordham University, he began his career on Wall Street, working for such companies as Irving Trust and Blyth, Eastman, Dillion, a firm which later merged with Paine Webber. In his position as senior account executive, he presented investment strategies to major banks, pension funds and life insurance companies in the New York/New Jersey area. A number of years later, Mr. Driscoll became Vice President with the Aims Group/Aetna Life Insurance Company. In this capacity he consulted with executives of Fortune 500 Companies to help them develop their own personal financial plans in such areas as Estate Planning, Security Investment, and Insurance. He later accepted a position of Vice President at Merrill Lynch in their Personal Capital Planning Group where he performed the same services for executives in the Washington DC area. Upon returning to Massachusetts, Mr. Driscoll, became an independent financial consultant, working with a clientele comprised of individuals in a variety of professions as well as retired couples. He reviewed clients’ portfolios, assisted them in developing their financial goals, and recommended specific investments. During this time Mr. Driscoll became aware of how important an understanding of Long Term Care Insurance was for his clients over 55 years of age. After conducting extensive research in this area, he has developed an expertise in both the types of policies available and the companies that offer them. He uses his personal consulting skills to assist the client in making a well-informed decision regarding Long Term Care. His approach is unique in that he is licensed with a number of LTC providers including: Continental Casualty Company - CNA; G.E., Capital Assurance (formerly AMEX); John Hancock / Fortis; Travelers Insurance Company; Transamerica Occidental Life; and UNUM Life Insurance Company of America. In addition, Mr. Driscoll utilizes a computer program developed with a grant from the National Council on Aging that provides LTC clients with a customized needs and cost analysis.
